The hardwood furniture mostly made of Seesham and Accacia wood. Following Fair Trade, the company pays directly a fair and negotiated price for it. The Fair Trade ultimately benefits all including its customers. Myakka has received the Ethical Award for showing Corporate Social Responsibility and is a member of the British Association for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS).
