Florence Nightingale Museum
The Florence Nightingale Museum Trust was incorporated on 9th of December 1987. This is a charitable company that is limited by guarantee. You can also join this museum as a member and get great benefits. This way you can help them conserve and develop the collections. You are allowed to book tickets to visit the museum for groups over 15 years of age only. Bookings for groups can be done only after specified timings and hence visitors need to check for the timings before booking. Small receptions and meetings can be held here. The museum has wheelchair facility and also the wheel chair toilet. Also, there is facility of a loop system for people with hearing problem. At the museum one can witness the slate used by Florence Nightingale as a child, the Turkish lantern, pet owl, Athena and many other belongings of her.
