Workington will be hosting its first ever Vintage In The Town festival. The first of its kind free event will put the town, on the West coast of Cumbria, on a step hack in time, when it takes place on the 8th September (Saturday) in the Workington Town Centre.
The free event is being brought out by the Paint The Twon Red team and Washington Sqyuare. The extravaganza is a nostalgia-themed celebration with chart-topping hits from the Swinging Sixties, also attracting the largest gathering of vintage traders in Cumbria’s history. There will be street entertainment, an art trail, Retro stage and food traders too, with an eclectic mix of music, making it a day for all ages.
