The public are welcome to a free exhibition at the Discovery Centre’s Wall Space. The event called LGBT+ History Exhibition goes on till 28 February. It is being hosted by the University of Winchester’s Modern History Research Centre in partnership with Winchester Discovery Centre.
The panels at the exhibition explore the historical perspectives of the the LGBT+ communities, their events and experiences in context of modern history viewed across different countries. It is the result of investigations done b early career researchers hailing form various universities from across the UK. The exhibition will run throughout the month, with 2 public events to be held on 10th February. Senior History Lecturer Dr. Emma Vickers and Ph.D students of the university will be at hand at the free exhibition to discuss their work.
