Free opera workshop at Lawrence Batley Theatre
Here’s the chance to learn about opera at Lawrence Batley Theatre (LBT), which is situated in Queens Road, in Huddersfield. One of the art-form’s very experience conductors, the artistic director of the Mid Wales Opera Company, Nicholas Cleobury, is offering the free workshop to music lovers, to be held in the afternoon of 12 September (Friday). The free opera workshop will be held with artists from the opera company, in the Attic Theatre. But tickets have to be booked in advance by calling 01484 430528, or at the website- thelbt.org. The Mid Wales Opera Company is performing Carmen on 13th September (Saturday).
Christopher England, head of Opera Circle at LBT, which is an organisation for opera lovers and those who want to learn it, says it is an unbeatable opportunity. Nicholas Cleobury is famed for his orchestral, operatic, choral and contemporary music work in the Western world. The Opera Circle welcomes new members, offers free sessions, has regular speakers mostly from opera companies and musicians.
The blu E-CIGS Mixmag party offers free tickets
Mixmag has joined with the blu E-Cigs to bring you a great party in the city of Glasgow. It is to be held on 12th September, at The Art School, Glasgow.
