Free entry to The Guardian’s seminar in London

You can apply for a free place to attend the seminar- Guardian Sustainable Business, to be hosted on 26th November, in London, taking place in the evening, between 6:30PM and 9:15Pm at The Guardian’s offices. The Guardian with support from Hitachi, is hosting the high-level event to explore how innovation and technology can shape the future of the healthcare system. There will be a panel debate, a breakout discussion and networking opportunities with subject experts.

The coming decades will see UK facing rising elderly population and other “lifestyle” conditions, like obesity-related illnesses. As the NHS is under financial pressure, the question arises of how the healthcare sector will cope. Technologists believe the answer lies in biometrics, informatics and other ‘smart’ technologies. Patients can be empowered, as disease prevention is more central than treatment. Registration will start at 6:00PM at the venue. Entry is free but places are limited, so please apply by taking up a Guardian account to complete the form.
