Free music workshop to be hosted by Dudley Mind
A free music workshop will be taking place in Dudley, on 22nd March (Thursday). Dudley Mind, the mental health charity, is hosting the free session from 3:30pm to 5pm, at Henry Court, in Carlton Street in this West Midlands town.
The free workshop is for promoting self expression, creativity and well-being. People who play musical instruments are being invited and to bring their instruments to the workshop, to develop on improvisation skills. Those who don’t play, can discover in a safe and positive environment, with others at the session, the joys of making music.
Dudley Mind is part of the Mind family that aims to improve and promote well-being and recovery for people affected by poor mental health. All Points East Festival has free entry for four days
London’s new three day All Points East Festival is being hosted at the Victoria Park and has announced free entry for 4 days. Victoria Park will host the main 3-day festival and various spin-off one-day events on ‘All Points East Presents’ will be open to 3 days of live music, outdoor cinema, arts, theatre, street food, bars, sports and much more. The All Points East Presents is on 1, 2 and 3 June.
Every evening will be staging a range of local ad world music, besides screening of independent short films, plus other movie themes like All Points Musical, All Points 80s and All Points Global World Cinema. Victoria Park will be open with free entry for All Points East In The Neighbourhood from 10am to 9:30pm, which runs from 28 to 31 May.
John Briggs, Mayor of Tower Hamlets, said they ensured community benefits be a key part of what’s to be delivered, in the agreement with the promoters. He claimed that the 4-day programme full of free activity is an exciting chance to showcase the diverse rich cultural talent of the borough and local people can involve in All Points East In The Neighbourhood.
