Free event to mark return to service of Red Funnel’s Osprey ferry after refit
Red Funnel’s Red Osprey ferry of Southampton will return to service after a £2 million refit, later this month. The Red Osprey is one of the city’s iconic ferries. It will return to the Solent and to the waters on 26th March, after extensive refurbishment, and which will be celebrated as an open day at Terminal One, at the Royal Pier of Southampton, from 10:00am to 4:00pm with free entry. There will be also 2 free cruises to give people a preview and a chance to explore the refurbished ferry. Cruises will depart from Southampton at 11:00am and 2:25pm.
The upgrade includes 65% more seats inside, a new interior, 2 new lounges, free Wi-Fi in passenger areas, air-conditioning throughout and access by lift or wheelchair to the promenade deck outside. 35 digital screens have been installed with two 65″ interactive screens and bridge-top cameras. The open day will have an Isle of Wright theme with 35 producers of the island showing off their crafts and products on-board, with all-day entertainment. Free tickets available to The Voice UK 2015 shows
The Voice UK 2015 live shows will be soon starting, towards the end of this month (March), with three shows and will end by April first week. Free tickets are available to the shows that will be taking place on 21 March, 28 March and 4 April, this year.
The live shows of this British television talent show will, this year too, take place at the big Elstree Studios of North London, with a huge audience eagerly watching. Beginning next week, will be the knock-out rounds for The Voice UK 2015. Each of the 4 teams will have 3 acts making it to the final live stages and one will be crowned winner.
If you like to be in the audience, apply quickly, as they are free of charge and non-transferable once issued. Minimum age is 14 years and each person aged 14 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult aged above 18. The free tickets can be booked through SRO audiences (www.sroaudiences.com).
Kellog’s free offer of ‘Grown-Ups Go Free’ to Merlin’s attractions
