Free entertainment at The Avenue, Newton Mearns
As part of Scotland’s summer sport, The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns will host free entertainment events for 6 weeks from Mondays to Thursdays, between 12PM & 4PM. The range of activities start-off at the mall on 30th June (Monday) running up to 3rd July (Thursday). The Scalextric event runs first and carpet curling event runs next week from 7th to 10th July , Monday through Thursday. Glasgow Science Centre Fit Labs with a range of zoned exhibits will perform from 14th July to 17th July. Free fun events include a crazy golf course for fun from 21st to 24th July and donkey rides from 28th to 31st July. Free tickets for Children’s Theatre during Kids Week
Free tickets will be offered from 7th June for the Kids Week on its annual return in August. By offering free children’s tickets for under-sixteens, the event at the West End aspires to encourage children of all ages and families to see live theatre. A host of shows at the West End over the month of August from around 1st to 30th of the month. One under-16 child can accompany free a paying adult to selected performances during the event. Two extra tickets at half price for children are also being offered. Besides stage shows there are workshops and activities related to the shows and theatre for children, like puppet making or a Q&A session. Free Tennis tuition on open day at Health Tennis Club, Runcorn
The Health Tennis Club will host an open day on 21st June, Saturday, when visitors can play tennis here for free. The venue for the free tennis session is in Clifton Road, Runcorn, Halton, at The Health-Specialist Technology College. Players and beginners may come between 9am & 12Noon for a free coaching, with cardio-tennis-fitness sessions here. Equipment will be given to visitors and refreshment also served.
