Free micro-chipping for dogs at free events in Hastings

The Hastings Police and borough council, with Amicus Horizon, in association with the Dog Trust, are hosting 4 free events, a series of dog micro-chipping events, across town, next week. Residents can bring in their dogs to be micro-chipped free on 16 June, Monday, at Downs Farm Community Centre, Brightling Avenue, from 11AM to 3PM. They can next bring their pets on 18 July, Friday, to Harrod Place, from 11AM to 3PM. Again on 11 August, Monday, at Scout Hut, on Oxford Road, again from 11AM to 3PM and also on 16 August, Saturday, to the Hastings Town-and-Country Show, Alexandra Park, from 10AM to 5PM.

The Inspector of Neighbourhood Police Team of Hastings, Chris Veale, appealed to all dog owners to use this free offer at these free events, as micro chipping is a sensible choice, that also helps avoid the loss of a pet. All dog-owners must have micro-chipped their dogs as from 6 April 2016, as per law.
