First of Stay & Play sessions at Ankerside Shopping Centre

Ankerside Shopping Centre will be hosting its first free session of Stay & Play for 2018, on the morning of 28th January, Thursday. Held on the last Thursday of every month, the free sessions give a little ones a chance to make gifts for their loved ones and take home too. This month, it falls on Valentine’s Day, so the shopping centre will offer Valentine-themed activities and fun for children, along with their child-minders, grandparents and parents. They can enjoy a bubble machine, inflatables and a visit of the colourful Stay & Play monster, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
Centre manager of Ankerside Shopping Centre, Jeff Wigley, said he expects to see Stay & Play sessions throughout 2018. Following the excellent response to previous monthly sessions, they look forward to continue it successfully this year too, he added. He said the little ones, throughout the morning, will be able to decorate their own chocolate gifts. They can make a Valentine’s card and take it home to their loved ones, he added. The centre manager explained that children can also bring along their learning books to be filled at the event on Thursday and hoped that everyone has a lovely time. The Stay & Play event is a free session for anybody who likes to attend with their young ones. Held on the last Thursday of each month, Stay & Play takes place in the centre’s Druckers Cafe, from 9.30am to 1.30am.
