Good news for all parents planning to put their kids in school this year! Peter Hyman, former speechwriter of Tony Blair is all set to start a school at free of cost. This school will be opened this year for students aged between 4 to 18years in the area of Stratford, in the London borough of Newham. The name of the school will be ‘School-21’ as Hyman thinks that the widest gap between the richest and the poorest in the field of education must be closed in order to pave way for students towards the 21st century. He also adds saying that lack of education creates inequality between literates and the illiterates.
School-21 is expected to open in the month of September and will not follow the usual conventional timetable, student and teacher ratio of 30:1 and number of periods each day. Instead, his school will have activities such as lessons, seminars and lectures, one-to-one coaching, project based education, more scope for developing debating and thinking skills and secondary students will have free periods. Each day in a week would start with games such as martial arts or chess to make learning more interesting.
According to Hyman, strength in each class will be only upto 25 and the school will have upto a maximum of 75 for a year. He plans to make his school the first English language specialist school with separate grammar and English lessons. He promises that 40% to 50% of his students will be eligible to get free school meals.

Free Tickets for the Final of Sky television Show

The participants will line up at the venue of Thames Street in the competition for the local theatre groups.
