Exciting free music festival at Vale Park in weekend

A free music festival is being held in Vale Park called ‘Live in the Park’ on 29th August. During the noon of the Bank Holiday weekend, a performance will be given by Toyah Willcox, the 80s’ pop-singer, on stage, in the Aylesbury venue. Toyah Willcox, over her career spanning 35 years, has recorded 24 abums and made a live tour across the world, with also 13 singles on the top 40 to her credit. She will be performing with her full live electric band in the park. She’ll be followed with eight and a half hours of live music performances. The continuous concerts will feature many local musicians and bands . The ultimate soul, disco and dance band Platform Soul will be performing.

To make sure the music event is accessible to all and to provide suitable facilities for people and for those with disabilities, the council is working with BUDS. The free music festival will also have traditional fun-fair rides, a mega slide, bars, catering stalls and refreshments to buy throughout the day. The afternoon will have great music and will see El Bronson on stage, Kitty Roisin, the singer -songwriter, the Whirlwind, a James Manders session, The Synthetix, Georgie Bird, also Old Country Union, the Raving Wild, Bustin’ Loose, Katie Buckhaven and others. Get a free Simplivity virtual pass to VMWorld

You may be craving to visit VMWorld, but just cant afford it or get your boss to meet the expenses to San Fransico, to the Moscone Centre. But don’t worry, here a great solution from Simplivity. Free public event, open day at farm in Grasmere

A traditional fell farm will be opening their gates in a free public event, to visitors on 29th August , Saturday. The free event has a farm walk and talk. Visitors will be able to see farmers in a farm environment, working with their farm livestock. From 11:00am, the Town Head Farm of Will Benson and Emma, at Grasmere, Cumbria, will be open to public.

The public can see up close the sheep, the sheep dog, demo of shearing and walling and a guided walk with the farmer. The local lamb can be bought for lunch, plus local craft stalls will be there. Although it is a free event, donations are welcome to help next year’s promotion and legal costs. The Cumbria Farmer Network is partnering with Friends of the Lake district to organise the walks, funded by the Crofton Trust, AWM Environmental Fund and The Lake District National Park, through the Cumbria Community Foundation. Get your free fragrance sample of BOSS The Scent

Here’s your chance to get a free fragrance sample from BOSS. A fragrance for men, The Scent, which is to be released very soon. BOSS describes it as a seductive new fragrance, having a spicy, sweet, warm concoction which is mostly suitable for nights out of town or formal occasions.
