Free coaching for new game Jag Tag
The Jacksonville Jaguars, the American professional football franchise will be in London Fields on 27th September, Sunday, to launch their new brand of touch American Football, at a special event for United Kingdom. This NFL team, Jaguars, have a yearly commitment, a home game played annually at Wembley Stadium in London, which this year is on 25th October.
The team have created the new version called ‘Jag Tag’ out of touch football. The game of American football is made easy to play and people of any age can try it out before taking up the sport. The special event ‘Jag Tag Live’ will be offering free coaching sessions to give people an introduction to the game. NFL experts will play the new game on specially set out pitches, for newcomers at the park in Hackney. Anyone wishing to attend the free coaching session on the Sunday need only to sign-up online via their website- jagtag.co.uk.
Free motor show at Webbs in Wychbold
A free event is set to feature famous names in motoring history on 30th August in Wychbold. This is the 20th Motor Show at Webbs, to take place at the garden centre in Wychbold, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This year, the annual show will be displaying over 340 vehicles including motorbikes, brought from the Bromsgrove Motorcycle Club and Worcester Autoclub Bikes.
Vehicles dating from the 1920s and from every decade after, will be at this free event, on show for the visitors and enthusiasts, featuring famous motoring names like Daimler, Lotus, MG, Morris, Triumph and Jaguar, amongst others. Ed Webb, executive chairman of Webbs, said the event that started 20 years back with a handful of vintage cars, has grown fantastically and is a great day out for the family too. Baloon magic by Professor Pepperpot and fair rides for children will be there at the venue.
Free online Amateur Radio foundation course by Essex Ham
The Foundation Online Training course by Essex Ham is a distance learning course to help anyone get started with amateur radio. So far 6 persons have passed the foundation exam recently. Two of them who have taken the Essex Ham’s course passed the exam in Essex recently. The Foundation Course is a free course. It uses a mix of text, video and online tests, allowing the students to learn at their own pace in a virtual classroom. All those interested in the next Foundation Course can get the details online at the site essexham.com.uk/foundation-online, and enrol online. Heather is one amateur ham who passed with the Colchester Radio Amateurs. She has just got her callsign. She thanks the online course for the study material she got while on a full time job. People at the Colchester club gave her a really great day of practicals and learning, she added. Andy V said to Essex Ham that he took the foundation exam at TARG on Canvey Island and passed. He thanked them very much to let him do the free course which was a great help to him.
