Free family fun at Cornbury Music Festival
The Cornbury Music Festival is really popular as it provides one of the safest and relaxed festivals, where there’s music for all ages and a great range of child-friendly food and activities. It will be held this year from 3rd July to 5th July, at the Great Tew Estate, Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. There’s also a fantastic Kids’ Zone here with activities running throughout, suitable for all ages. There’s no need to book here and all activities are free. You just turn up here and join in.
The Kids’ Zone is a space right in the middle of the festival. Families can drop in and out for free and view all the festival highlights, plus see the main stage too. There’s a wide mix of activities, things to watch, listen and throw around. It’s fun for all ages and goes on all the time. There’s Clay Modelling, Lantern Making, circus crafts & skills workshop, Bollywood dancing, knitting, new rock & roll, croquet/mini golf course, etc. New highlights coming this year include Monkey Magic Show by Marky J, Dizzy o’Dare and The Balloon Experiment, the nutty Professor Pumpernickal and a great show. Kids get to join or learn ukulele playing, Mini Music Sessions, Drumming workshops, Bhangra, Bollywood and Indian dance and many more. Billy and Andy will bring in a special programme- Music Making Bonanza. Besides the free sessions, the Cornbury Music Festival has lots more to offer to music lovers and the whole family.
