Free event to help building contractors
A free event for building contractors in West Midlands will be held on 10 April, Thursday. Constructionline, the government owned contractors database is organising this “Meet the Buyer” session to help small and medium sized contractors find out about work opportunities and contracts in the area. The event is open to all contractors and will be held between 8.30AM and 3.00PM at Château Impney.
Representatives from Kier and VINCI contractors, also from County Councils of Worcestershire and Wolverhampton, as well as Nuneaton and Bedworth borough, will discuss about how upcoming construction projects can be give business to contractors, at this event.
Free cookery courses
A free event is being organised by the Bulwell Forest Gardens, which is a 4-week cooking course. The event runs on 23 April, Wednesday, and again on 30 April, 7 May and 14 May, from 10.30am to 2.30pm on those days of the cookery course, at the Bulwell Riverside.
The free event will be teaching the people participating at the sessions, on how to make the most of home grown produce to cook a meal or for a recipe using them. The organisers will provide for all ingredients needed, the tools and refreshments at the sessions.
