Herne Hill Free Film Festival is coming soon
Later in the month, the Herne Hill Free Film Festival is returning to host free screenings, activities and festivities, from 28th April to 29th May, at various venues across this district in South London. The announcement of the full schedule of events, films and venues include the search for local talent in film-making with the 48 Hour Film Competition returning back.
The festival back for a fifth year, has recent blockbusters lined up, like Roland Dahl’s BFG, Lala Land and Moonlight. Alongside will be cult classics like Easy Rider, The Big Lebowski and Little Shop of Horrors. Various venues participating in the free event include Half Moon pub, along with Canopy Beer Brewery, the Lido Cafe, Off The Cuff bar, Effraspace, along with Prince Regent, The Florence, plus local churches and schools. Special free one-night event at Europa Holiday Park
Woolacombe’s Europa Holiday Park will be taken over by Rupert & Buckley, the clothing brand, for a special one-night only event. The special event is to celebrate the new collection of the company for Sping and Summer, to be hosted on 8th April (Saturday) and folows their photoshoot on the Woolacombe beach.
The Manager at Europa Park, Joe Jobling, said they look forward to welcome Rupert and Buckley. The brand matches aims of Europa, with their young, exciting approach and audience engagement fits right here, he claimed. He added that this is a free event for anyone from UK and for locals of North Devon and Woolacombe and hope to see as many people as possible join the night.
The evemt will give customers the chance to check out the new Spring and Summer collection, meet the brand ambassadors, to win prizes and to party. There’s free entry and event includes half price entry to Marisco’s nigtclub based in Woolacombe.
