Volunteers well versed in road riding are needed by the Coaching and Education team of British Cycling to help with Level 3 Road and Time Trial.
The team at British Cycling are searching for volunteers who are well versed in road riding to help with a Level 3 Road and Time Trial being conducted a Closed Road Circuit on Sunday the 16th of September.
A group of Coach Educators and L3 performance coaches in training from British Cycling would offer the people participating in this session expert lessons in topics covering fitness, technique and race tactics, as a part of the classes.
The performance trainee coaches would also be searching for riders who would be willing to work on an individual basis through the following months as a part of their continuing practical appraisals. This would be part and parcel of their continued devotion to the certification.
The Level 3 certificate in Coaching Road and Time Trial which has been developed with maximum practical sessions requires riders who have the skill as well as the experience, but it does not imply that they must have participated in races of high levels.
The session conducted in the mornings would start from 9am and go on till 1pm. They participants and trainers will be provided with lunch and riders who are above 14 years of age are invited to participate, however they would have to carry their own riding kits.
As places are few, interested candidates can register or avail more information by getting in touch with the admin team on the number 0161 274 2060 or send an email to coaching@britishcycling.org.uk.
