The Westport Library will be hosting two workshops on Internet Marketing in June; one will be on 3rd June, Tuesday and the other on 17th June, Tuesday. The workshops are being offered to small businesses to help them get a better online presence. Both the workshops are being co-sponsored by Fairfield County Score, which is a volunteer organisation for business monitoring. Sigh-in for both sessions are at 5.30PM and the workshop will be from 6PM to 8PM. Although free, advanced registration is advised by the library for both sessions. Go to the Score site online- www. At the 3rd June workshop- Making Content Work, the session will show how to evaluate content and draft new material, using a variety of media with powerful writing. Deirdre Silberstein will demonstrate. She works for Silbersteing & Associates, a business writing firm.
At the 17th June workshop- Using WordPress to create a website, the session will show how to create a website using the WordPress program, suitable for small businesses. Jon Dupree will demonstrate. He is from Calibrate Marketing & Mentoring and will be joined by Jeff Seaver of Seaver Interactive.
