Two annual events, the 55+ Info Fest and the Winter Warmth, are the events that are joining forces to provide older people with an even bigger information day in Gosport. The combined event will be held from 10:00AM to 2:00PM, on the 24th October, at Thorngate Hall, which is on Bury Road.
Joining forces, the free event will have an exhibition with a number of organisations in a broad range, providing advice and all kinds of information about social activities, services and learning. The event will also provide advice on managing energy costs, about keeping warm at home and how to get through in comfort and good health the oncoming winter months. Visitors can see and take part in a number of interactive demonstrations that includes new age kurling and a Tai Chi demonstration.
