Thousands of free tickets for Hertfordshire residents are up for grabs, to enter top tourist attractions and hidden gems, across the county, for one weekend in March. So residents can liil up what’s on offer at the Herts Big Weekend website.
The ballot for the free tickets to be bid, for tickets to as many listed destinations and activities, closes on 16th February (Tuesday). The lucky winners, only people residing in Hertfordshire, will be allocated by ballot two tickets. Those applying should be over the age of 18. To apply, an account has to be created online and can be used to log into the site every time (www.hertzbigweekend.co.uk). The winners of the free tickets will be intimated around the end of Febrary.
Top attractions such as Lee Valley Park White Water Centre and Knebworth House are in the list. David Curtis-Brignell, the joint project-manager of Visit Herts, said the Big Weekend is a great way to begin the tourist season, but also a way to reward residents with a free, great day out.
