The popular Worcester Show is returning to Worcester this year to be hosted for the 11th time, at Gheluvelt Park, on the 14th of August, Sunday. The Worcester show will open at 10am and run up to 5pm, featuring the usual mix of attractions, competitions and other entertainment.

There will be more than 130 competitions, to be held in various categories, including crafts, clay, cookery, photography, floral decorations and recycling. The animal zone will offer youngsters pony rides and show animals by the RSPB and the Hereford Owl Rescue, plus fairground rides, crazy golf and a bouncy castle. Along with show regulars Got2Sing, there’s music by Come-Up-and-See-Mee and Secret Cabaret.

An addition this year is a diverse series of entertaining and informative lectures called Topical Talk. Free and family friendly events are being organised by the National Childbirth Trust’s Worcester and Droitwich branch, with trust representatives active here. Worcester Wolves and Worcester Warriors will hold sport coaching, plus Worcester Taekwando Club will give demonstrations.
