The Wales National Airshow will be hosted in Swansea and the Swansea Council has confirmed that they are adding to the line-up of the free event, the world famous Breitling Wingwalkers. The aerobatic team has performed in many countries, including the UAE, Australia, India nad China. The daredevil performers use the 1940s Boeing Stearman biplanes for their acts in the skies. The free Wales National Airshow will be held on 2nd July (Saturday) and 3rd July (Sunday).
The Breitling Wingwalkers are very popular with fans at aerobatic shows. Also confirmed is the appearance of Gerald Cooper, one of the top 10 at the World Championships for aerobatics and also holder of many British National Aerobatic titles. Other acts in the line-up include the Red Arrows, Tigers parachute team, the Eurofighter Typhoon, Team Raven, Team Yakovlevs and the Bronco Demo Team. An official app, the WNAS16 App, has been launched to help airshow fans. It can be downloaded and used on iPhones, Android and Windows phones.
