The Dorset Wildlife Trust to hold free events in spring

With the coming of spring, Dorset-Wildlife-Trust (DWT) will be hosting around the county various bird watching days and also dawn chorus walks, in May. A free event will be held on 21st April, Tuesday, which is a bird watching event and a guided evening walk, that will begin at 6:00pm at the Powerstock Common which is close to Maiden Newton. This DWT’s nature reserve(284 acres) is a fascinating place of great natural beauty. It will be led by Maurits Fontein, West Dorset Land-Management Officer of the trust. On 23rd April there will be another event leading a group to Lytchett Bay near Poole. This is part of the Great Heath Living Landscape and will be led by Great Heath Learning and Interpretation Officer Nicky Hoar along with Shaun Robson, bird expert and ringer.
