Telegraph Free Mobile AppFree mobile app subscriptions are being offered by Telegraph to those who purchase iPad editions. This free offer is confirmed by Graham Horner, marketing director of Telegraph at the Gadget Show. He said that the print is becoming very difficult to sustain. Currently, the newspaper offers three apps for iPad, iPhone and Android editions. The newspaper has plans to create tablet-optimized Android app to cater to the increasing demand in the future. Since, 1994 the publisher has been offering news online every day. The iPad version is made available at £9.99 per month and iPhone and Android phone editions are offered at £1.99 a month. One month trial allows the phone customers to use and evaluate the apps. For iPad version, the similar app would cost 99p.

iPad app is not attuned to operate on 2048 x 1536 pixels resolutions display of the latest iPad. Recently, the iPad app had received noteworthy changes which enhance the use. Customers who subscribe for the iPad edition are assured to bundle iPhone and Android mobile apps along with a membership to the Loyalty Club of Telegraph. Customers who subscribe the print edition will get the iPad edition free. Horner said that publishers will have to cater to the rising expectations and demands of the iPad users. This initiative from Telegraph to bundle free mobile apps with iPad edition is definitely sensible.
