TalkTalk, one of UK’s leading telecoms providers, has offered new broadband customers signing up, the Totally Unlimited Simply Broadband package free for 12 months. Those who sign up from now until 25th February (Thursday) will get this offer, plus will receive the new Super Router and also free internet security software. Subscribers will also get the Talk2Go app that allows customers to use their landline minutes on their mobile service.
Simply Broadband is the stand-alone broadband package deal, offering unlimited data usage at speeds of up to 17Mbps, by TalkTalk. The package is offered on a 18-month contract. New subscribers however have to pay the line rental of £17.70 per month. After the 12 months of free broadband, the customer has to pay thereafter £7.50 monthly, plus the line rental. A one-off delivery charge of £6.75 ha to be paid for the router.
Although the Simply Broadband package comes without a call package, TalkTalk is currently offering free for 6 months anytime UK mobile and landline calls. TalkTalk customers can call each other on their landlines free of charge . Customers installing a new line or those switching providers to TalkTalk, are also offered a free connection, or £30/ £40 welcome credit.
