Summer Fun brochure lists free events for all in South Holland

The South Holland District Council has published its popular Summer Fun brochure, which lists the wide range of leisure and cultural activities for families, young people and children, throughout the summer break. This brochure which is now freely available at the South Holland Centre, the council offices, libraries, sports venues and Aysecough Free Hall, has been already distributed to all school children in South Holland.

Communities and Communications teams of the council has produced the brochure, which lists activities like bug hunts, Badminton, table tennis, swimming, gymnastics, horse riding, arts and crafts and many more. The free events give young people who are aged between 8 and 19 years, the opportunity to try a range of activate that include rowing machine sessions and wall climbing.

The free events are being conducted between 2 August and 30 August, from 11am to 3pm. The dates and venues are – 2 August at Memorial Park, Sutton Bridge; 16 August at Monks House Playing Field, Spalding; 23 August at Walker Memorial Park, Gedney Drove End; and 30 August at Cowbit Playing Field.

An online interactive version of the brochure is being made available for the first time. People can browse events categorised here, to save and print out the info. It would be available soon at the website- holland.gov.uk/summerfun.
