Stratford Astronomical Society is hosting a free event for stargazers, allowing to feast their eyes on the glory of the night sky, at Henley. Stargazers are welcome on the nights of 12th January (Friday) and 14th January (Sunday), to the Henley Golf and Country Club. Star-gazing on each night will be done from 6:30pm to 10pm.
The family-friendly programme is made for both adults and children, with telescopes being provided and talks included on astronomy. Participants will get celestial objects to observe in the sky, like the Milky Way, Andromeda Galaxy, constellations and the main stars, that are in view during the free event nights. The Golf Club will make available refreshments to participants.
