Stoke City’s ‘Kicks’ programme is offering free football sessions in Weston Coyney and Fenton. All local area youngsters aged 11 and above, are eligible to participate in the free football sessions that are slated to happen from Monday, July 21, running till Friday, July 25 of 2014. The sports court in Fenton’s Mount Pleasant Park will host the coaching sessions between 03:30 pm and 04:30 pm, while the Weston Coyney’s play area located in the Weston Heights will be hosting the coaching sessions between 05:00pm and 06:00 pm.
Community head of Stoke, Adrian Hurst, has opined that the Kicks programme will be giving young people a chance to participate in positive activities of a wider range. Young people will also be simultaneously kept totally engaged as well as entertained. Though this programme is free, only limited places are available and advance booking is needed. This free football drive forms a part of the ‘Flames Aren’t Games’ campaign, a successful one.
