Steampunk Society Bazaar Convivial coming to King’s Lynn

February 26th, 2018 by Sandy

King’s Lynn Steampunk Society will be organising in West Norfolk, the first Steampunk event called King’s Lynn Steampunk Socity Bazaar Convivial 2018. Organisers are looking forward to make this free event an annual event, which is perfect for all ages and families. The event kicks-off with the Indoor Steampunk Market, which will be hosted at the Dukes Head Hotel. The day will be filled with comedy, dancing, burlesque, music and entertainment from League of Extreme Madness, from Soluna Dance and much more.

During the afternoon, there will be a parasol duelling for everyone to join. The audience will be kept entertained in the evening with An Evening of Vaudeville, that starts from 6:30pm, featuring a Victorian strongman, live music, dancing and comedy, which is ticketed. The vintage style and glamour of fire-eating follie, the international showgirl, Talulah Blue, will wow the crowd. Professor Elemental, with years of live shows, acclaimed albums and famous voice, will be staging his wild combo of music and comedy. Sir Leopold Aleksander, the Victorian strongman, known as ‘Mighty Moustache’, will perform feats of strength.

Event organiser, Selina Lennon, said the Steampunk is a nostalgic look at what they could have had in future and focuses on the Victorian era. The free event will be taking place on 15th September, to be hosted at Lynn’s hotel, the Dukes Head Hotel. For more details go to the event-page at facebook.com/klss.bazaarconvivial/.
