St Mary’s Church summer celebration welcomes all

St Mary’s Church will be hosting a family-friendly summer celebration on 2nd September, Saturday. The church in Ely will be opening its gardens from midday for fun and entertainment. There will be entertainment for children by KD Theatre Productions, holding performances at 12:30pm and 3:15pm.

The free event will have face painting, inflatables, a vintage styled cafe serving home made cream teas, craft and modelling. Find fun and sing-along songs aboard Jolly Roger. A buried treasure will be hunted by Buccaneer Becky and Sea Dog with help from the audience.

Lisa Olsworth-Peter, organiser, welcomes everyone to an afternoon of fun, excitement and games, looking forward to see lots of kids and adults enjoying at friendly St Mary’s grounds. The Vicar of St Mary’s welcoming everyone from wherever to the free event, said they love to come together to celebrate life and faith, as their church is a community of all generations
