SPINE Festival brings in Young Herbert’s Horrors for kids

A free event will be hosted at the Central Library Bexleyheath. The popular poet, Justin Coe, will be performing his new spoken word show, Young Herbert’s Horrors, here. Youngsters those aged 3 to 7 are invited along with their families to watch the show, which is to be held on 10th March , Saturday, at 10:30am, at the library.

It is all about Herbert Hawkins, a young wannabe pirate, and his Mum who has his boat grounded, until he learns to tidy up his cabin. Angry Herbert stops going to school and so to warn Herbert about the dangers of rebellion, Great Uncle Albatossi calls upon him. The SPINE Festival is for celebrating arts and literature, and as a family art festival that is held across many of London’s libraries This free event is a part of its line-up.
