O2 to offer six months free internet access for companies

The acclaimed broadband provider in the UK, O2 is all set to expand their customer base by offering free broadband services. This time, it targets small businesses and companies. O2 has announced that it will offer six months free broadband access to every company who subscribe to their broadband and landline service before March end. This scheme appears very attractive and useful to the companies. Companies who qualify for this scheme include those with up to 2,000 employees. This scheme is termed as “Flying Start”.

The company makes another exciting move, wherein existing mobile customers can have access to three to six month free broadband access and line rental. New customers can have access broadband access free for three months. Companies who want to benefit from this free broadband offer needs to sign up for a minimum 24-month contract. Although, broadband access is free customers will be charged for the calls they make. However, this initiative by O2 will help companies cut their broadband costs. Many companies welcome this free broadband offer.

Claire Darley, head of small business sales at O2 said that this initiative will help British businesses to cope with the economic conditions and move ahead. By subscribing to this plan, companies can cut their annual costs.

The scheme is open to existing O2 business customers with fixed line contract.
