The Lincoln Fashion Week is back and is to run from 28th April to 5th May. Lincoln BIG has added more events to the week-long programme and has something for all members in the family. The stylish extravaganza gets more than 100 models, with stylists, hairdressers, make up artists on standby and retailers with great offers joining.
The city will host the exclusive fashion week at five locations – St Marks Shopping Centre, Waterside Shopping Centre, the Upper High Street, Bailgate and the Corn hill area. The event will kick-off on Friday and Miss Lincolnshire will be appearing on the day. People will be able to pick the programme for the week and tote bags at the 5 locations.
On 28th April, retailers will be swapping from 12 pm to 1pm, the window mannequins at Debenahams, Marks and Spencer, Waterside Shopping Centre and St Barnabas, with live models Lincolnshire Hospice Shop (Primark). Debenhams in St Marks Shopping Centre will be holding the Children’s Fashion Event on 1st May, between 2pm & 5pm. The ‘Prom Night’ for teenagers will be held here on 4th May from 5pm to 8pm.
Jess Wickham, Head of Fashion Week, said ‘Pop Up box offices’ from both Sr Marks and Waterside shopping centres, and from the Visitor Information Centre in Castle Hill, will be selling tickets to their Catwalk Show sponsored by Lincolnshire Co-operative and the Wig n’ Mitre, on 5th May, at Alive Church.
The show starts at 7pm, with attendees getting a free drink and entry to Home nightclub for the After Show Party. There is a special draw where a man and a woman can get to win a £150 voucher from Talking Heads. The event has free entry but tickets must be obtained via the Eventbrite website.
