Rotherham is all set to play host to the free dog-chipping event to be held on Tuesday, the 8th of July, 2014 between 11:00 am and 02:00 pm, the venue being Mowbray Gardens Library. All dog owners are welcome to participate in this chipping event to be held next week. The Dogs Trust, in partnership with the Rotherham Borough Council is jointly organizing this free event. Those on benefits can also participate in this event.
Dogs that are brought to the event for chipping should be older than 12 weeks. It is also expected that within a time period of 24 hours prior to the chipping, the dogs should not have been subjected to treatment for fleas. In the UK, since chipping of all dogs will become mandatory as per law by the year 2016, dog-chipping events are the initiatives. Therefore, all the dog owners in Rotherham are advised to makes use of this free event.
