RIM Offers Free Premium Apps to Subscribers

RIM customers who was left frustrated due to the recent service disruptions has something to be happy about. As a compensation for the service outage, RIM has announced to give away GBP 63.54 worth premium apps for its subscribers. The free apps will be available for downloads on BlackBerry App World in the coming weeks and they will be offered till December 31, 2011.

Mike Lazaridis, Co-CEO of RIM said that the company’s global network supports 70 million customers and to ensure their trust the company will continue to offer high standards of service in the future.

Customers can download the complete selection of premium apps including SIMS 3 – Electronic Arts, Bejewelled – Electronic Arts, N.O.V.A. – Gameloft, Texas Hold’em Poker 2 – Gameloft, Bubble Bash 2 – Gameloft, Photo Editor Ultimate – Ice Cold Apps, DriveSafe.ly Pro – iSpeech.org, iSpeech Translator Pro – iSpeech.org, Drive Safe.ly Enterprise – iSpeech.org, Nobex Radio™ Premium – Nobex, Shazam Encore – Shazam and Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant – Vlingo from October 19th onwards.

Free Technical Support will be offered to the enterprise customers of RIM while one month extension of Technical Support contract will be available for current customers. Besides, a month trial BlackBerry Technical Support Services will be offered to customers without an existing technical contract for free of cost.
