There will be a thrilling airshow for four days at Eastbourne. Airbourne will be returning with a great line-up on the 13th to 16th August, that will have on show military jets and helicopters, with fantastic displays from aerobatics teams, and also the Red-Arrows participating. The completely free event will be held at Eastbourne’s Western Lawns, over 4 days. Displays include the new Hawk-T2 duo, the Eurofighter-Typhoon, Tutor on display and RAF’s aerobatics team Red-Arrows (on 3 days). Also at the show will be the Battle-of-Britain Memorial Flight, featuring a 4-ship formation comprising the Dakota, Hurricane, Spitfire and the Lancaster.
This year’s show will have a ‘Super Saturday’, featuring the Vulcan bomber, a 12-hour extravaganza of ground displays, flying, live music, fireworks and twilight pyro-aerobics. The show will also feature great fun on the ground with children’s entertainment area, with a military exhibition and helicopter pleasure flights. The Bandstand will host evening concerts. Thursday will have the Big Band Night performing and Friday will have Toyah, the celebrated pop-punk princess. Heart Breakfast’s Tom, Nicola and Jack will start the Saturday evening party. Scouting for Girls, the platinum selling band, will headline the seafront celebration at this free event. On every day of the show, the Heart Angels will be on the beach.
