Portsmouth’s free event from 30th April to 2nd May, from Saturday to Monday, this weekend, at Castle Field, returns for its 4th year with a family-friendly programme, exciting, fun and enjoyable for everyone.
On each day, from 10am to 5pm, various activities will be taking place. Favourites include donkey rides, heavy horse displays, archery taster sessions, ferret racing, welly throwing, sheep grazing, sheep dog demonstrations and Punch and Judy shows. This year will have a new Canine Corner, with 3 days of dog shows. There will be stalls selling doggie treats and also demo of flyball, where balls are raced and retrieved by dogs. There will be market stalls and rides for children, with refreshment stalls offering lots of tasty food. Plus the opportunity to enter their dogs into the show and they can register on the day.
