The Police Open Day by the Gloucestershire Constabulary is to be held on 12th September at Waterwells Business Park, Quedgeley, when it will be opening the doors of its headquarters to the public from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The free event was held last year and found to be so popular that it has been decided to hold it again this year, in September.
Many of the attractions seen last year will be brought back for 2015. This includes attractions such as the mounted police, firearms, police dogs and road policing. Additional activities to be included in this year’s free event are the Safe Cyber Zone, officer safety training, fitness training, treasure hunts and also a range of other types of fun activities suitable for the whole family. Entry is free on the open day and free parking is being arranged at nearby Park and Ride, plus disabled parking on site.
