Norwich church to host free Christmas concert and actvities

December 5th, 2017 by Sandy

Norwich church Proclaimers have planned a free Christmas concert and other events on a weekend, on 16th and 17th December. The concert with a Santa’s grotto, children’s party and music from a range of genres that includes Queen, Nat King Cole and Spandau Ballet are, is to be hosted at The Space. The 2017 event hosted by Proclaimers promises to be again an extravagant Christmas presentation. The 3 performances of the concert are on Saturday, at 5pm (16 December ), on Sunday (17 December), at 3pm and 5pm.

The Pastor of Proclaimers, Tom Rawls, remarked that it is both fun and inspirational, a concert where friends can be invited to, not only to enjoy it, but to see, hear and understand the true meaning of Christmas. Associate Pastor of Proclaimers pointed out that Proclaimers seek to offer every year something a little different, but keeping the Christmas message at the centre. Their creative team has yet again pushed themselves to the limits this year, to bring out a special and unique presentation, he added.

The Associate Pastor said they were putting together something inspired from a variety of musical genres that would appeal to the whole family. Unlike last year’s Proclaimers Christmas events, that had standing room only, this year it will have tickets, available either online (http://proclaimers.com/christmas/), or can be collected from The Space. Ticket holders will be put on a prize draw. There will be activities for children and parents, with Christmas snacks too. At this free event, each concert will feature a free Santa’s grotto and free children’s party, plus free parking.
