Northam Burrows is holding the annual free summer events on Tuesday, the 29th of July. An exciting array of activities and programmes has been arranged as a marking symbol of the summer holidays. Children’s activities have topped the agenda, this time around. Shawn Corin, Head Ranger, along with his team, are all set to run these free events which are slated for the entire summer holidays in Northam Burrows in Torridge.
A variety of events and activities such as Brilliant Bug Hunt, X Marks Spot, Endangered Animals, Dinosaur Day, Sand Castles and Sculptures, dog shows, bird walks and more. Gaye Tabor, Lead Member of Torridge’s Natural & Built Environment, has opined about the significance of teaching children to respect and love the natural environment through activities and games. Participating children need to be accompanied by responsible adults, while also wearing sensible and suitable footwear as well as clothing.
