The first ever motor show to be held in Newcastle will be held on 11th July and 12th July (Saturday and Sunday), to the delight of petrol heads and classic car enthusiasts. The free-to-attend first NE1 Newcastle Motor Show will feature some 100 rare and exclusive vehicles, staged on one of Newcastle’s prominent spaces. Some of the world’s finest cars will be displayed from Grey’s Monument and along Grey Street. Two zones will be made from the area stretching from Grey’s Monument to down Grey Street.
Vehicles from the brands on show and a few ‘show-stopper’ vehicles, will be displayed around Grey’s Monument along with some unique and rare vehicles here. This zone will also have driving simulators, motoring based games, host of activities for children and families, besides entertainment and retail units. The other zone with area running from Theatre Royal down to Mosley Street, over Grey Street, will host an exhibition of some of the finest cars of the region. Private owners will be showing classic MGs, AC Cobras, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, etc. All of this make a unique free event.
The director of communications at NE1 Ltd., Stephen Patterson, said Newcastle has fantastic businesses and world-class architecture and the focus is to deliver a unique spectacle and experience unseen in an UK event.
