A New Year’s Eve concert will be held at the Darwin Waterfront. To welcome revellers flocking to Darwin and to keep the crowds in a festive spirit, musicians and children’s performers will be presenting their shows at this alcohol-free event at the waterfront. Entertainment will feature numerous artists, a Paw Patrol show and at 9:00pm, a children’s fireworks display, with the ending at midnight by the fireworks finale with a big bang.
Families are encourage to pack a picnic blanket and come along to the free event at the waterfront dotted with food stalls. Free bus services will operate between 7am and 7pm, around the city of Darwin, departing at 15min intervals from Mitchell Street to Casuarina, and to Palmerston at 30min intervals.
