A new ‘Get Into Golf’ pilot project will be delivered at Stoke-on-Trent. ‘Get Into Golf’ is a national campaign run by England Golf Partnership, which is working to inspire new golfers and works to grow the game. It provides opportunities that are free or low-cost beginner courses, under expert hands of PGA professionals.
Free taster sessions for those interested in trying out golf are being offered at the 3 stores of American Golf with the Potteries venue. Shoppers to the stores can get the chance every Thursday, between 5pm and 7pm, to try their hand at golf with Gareth Shaw, a PGA qualified professional, who is also regional manger at England Golf. The store is located at 75 – 81 Newcastle Road.
