Heritage Lottery Fund is saying ‘thank you’ to those who helped fund major projects, with a nationwide initiative that gives lottery players free entry to Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre. Anyone can get into the visitor centre free, with a proof of ever playing the National Lottery, from 11th (Monday) to 17th (Sunday) December.
Heritage Lottery Fund has recently awarded £12 million to Jordell Bank Discovery Centre to support its First Light Project. It aims create a new engaging visitors gallery and to restore and conserve the heritage of site.
To get free entry to the Discovery Centre, visitors can show prof of every having played National Lottery, either in digital or paper with the purchase date not relevant, such as a scratch card, or a lottery ticket, or an online lottery account.
Along with free entry, players can enjoy further free events and activities running over the week, such as drop-in craft activities, science shows and garden tours. Participants can bring as many members in family or friends along, with a single lottery ticket, but need to book in advance online at jordellbank.net/thankstoyou.
