Liverpool 2017, the free music and arts festival is here

A fabulous festival is to open this week at Liverpool, that will celebrate the city’s creativity. The Liverpool 2017, with a dominant love theme linking it, is a festival spread across a series of locations, hosting a series of free events, featuring music, masters in arts and crafts. The festival launches on 10th February (Friday) eventing, running between 6:00pm & 9:30pm and will conclude officially on 18th February (Saturday).

The Carlisle Buildings on Victoria Street has 4 floors of ‘Liverpool & Love’, hosting over 30 artists taking part in it. Display timings for visitors are from 2pm to 6pm, Monday through Saturday. The ‘Liverpool LIVE’, starting on 11th February, is set in Victoria Street’s Courtroom Cafe. The evening will see local musicians, performers, acoustic performances, DJs and best bands, that will culminate in a Late Night Jam. Stalls of Liverpool Market is also set out here. Volunteers of the city’s Refugee & Asylum Seekers Association, LARA, will be present to answer questions, throughout the event. One-off events include- Sing With Love on 13 February and Liverpool Acoustics evening of music for couples and singles on Valentine’s Day.
