Those adults who have problems with their hearing, as well as those who are hearing impaired will be offered free classes on lip reading. The classes would be conducted in Park House, Located in Northenden Road, Sale between 1’o clock and 3 o’clock in the afternoon and these classes would be conducted on all Thursdays’ beginning with the 13th September.
The main objective of the course would be to assist those people who participate in it to be able to handle circumstances that create stress and anxiety for them, as well as to given them a chance to meet other people who also go through situations akin to theirs.
Since these classes are not being conducted on a formal basis participants do not have to feel obliged to attend classes every Thursday. In addition they are just informative classes and people attending the course need not worry about having to write an examination because no examinations will be conducted at the end of the course.
