Lee Valley Regional Park is celebrating its 40th anniversary by giving away 900 free tickets for experiences here. The tickets are for activities and experiences being held across venues and the park. The events include horse-riding at Lee Valley Riding Centre, free family passes to rhe Lee Valley Park Farms, tickets to the Six Day London at Lee Valley VeloPark, go-carting at Rye House and Lee Valley White Water Centre. The Lee Valley Regional Park authority, formed in 1967, claims to get around 7 million visitors to the Hertfordshire park per year, for the last 50 years.

Chief executive, Shaun Dawson, of the authority, said the formation of the Lee Valley Regional Park triggered a transformation of Lee Valley into a world class visitor destination. To celebrate this milestone they are giving away hundreds of free experiences, allowing many more people to enjoy leisure and sports activities and the Lee Valley Big 50 has got something for everybody, he added. Applicants can register for as many experiences and enter a ballot to get their free tickets, which will close on 15th May.
