Lee Valley Golf Course will be offering free sessions and expert advice, with also some Foot Golf sessions too. These special golf days offer both youngsters and ladies the chance to tee off for free. They are offered either a 9 or 18 hole play on the parkland course. Also open on weekends and during school holidays, is the 18-hole Foot Golf course, from 12 noon to 1:45 pm, but at a price. Lee Valley Golf Course will be hosting 2 new golfing events for the National Golf Month. A Juniors Golf Day and a Ladies Gold Day will take place on 31st May (Wednesday) from 11am, going on till 1pm.
The Manager of Lee Valley Golf Course, Rick Garvey, said they thought they would celebrate National Golf Month by offering more people the chance to try out golf at their golf course. He added, by holding such free events they are giving an opportunity to more ladies and youngsters who are below 18 and hopefully they would come back again. They are also going to have on the day, golf experts to advise them on golf, to make a great event for both seasoned players and beginners.
