A free family fun event and live music will be hosted at The Landmark Theatre in Ilfracombe, next week. The free community event with festive fun, on 21 December, Thursday, will be presented by North Devon musicians joining forces. The Pavilion there will be hosting from 4pm onwards fee activities for both children and families, with live music, playing till 11:30pm, by a host of local bands.
This festive event is being organised by the community organisation Free the Arts UK. It was formed by the performers known as The Peacekeeping Missiles, who are Tarma Lynn and Jack Tipper. The day will see Jambones featuring Ann K and Homesick Gypsy. Rakes Adrift, Hang in D will play together with Tarma and Jack. Throughout the day, the event will be live streamed. Jack Tipper said the event tries to buck up the theatre while not doing shows. Parkwood have opened up the space for them, he said, as a one-off event, but hopes to have it on regularly every 6 weeks or so, bringing arts or crafts and free events to the community.
